All HomePlace Maintenance Programs begins with a comprehensive survey of your home.  This survey identifies both ongoing maintenance items as well as any corrective maintenance needed.  Working with the homeowner, The Other Man  prioritizes the maintenance items and establishes a program that is coordinated with the home’s needs and is mindful of your budget.  The Other Man maintains an updated database recording all maintenance needs, work performed, and future needs or projects.  The initial comprehensive survey is updated annually, as is the proposed maintenance schedule.

Our HomePlace Plus Maintenance Programs has been designed with senior citizens in mind.  The Other Man understands too well the anxiety and feelings of wanting to do more for our parents living on their own, far from where the children now call home.  The HomePlace Plus Maintenance Programs begin with the same comprehensive survey contained in all of our HomePlace Maintenance Programs.  The results of the survey are shared with the homeowners as well as any other party of their choosing (usually children but we will work with social agencies and churches).  Together, a maintenance program is developed and a schedule is made to conduct routine maintenance on a monthly basis.  The frequency of this service ensures that little problems do not get out of hand and it offers peace of mind knowing that The Other Man will be there to help out every month.

The individualized nature of the HomePlace Maintenance Programs does not allow us to quote a price without conducting an initial comprehensive survey.  The cost of this survey, which generally requires three or more hours to complete, is $200.  If you enroll in an annual HomePlace Maintenance Programs, you will receive a $200 credit toward the first year’s fees.  The total cost of each program will be determined by the homeowner.
